I have been talking to a lot of people about the current mortgage mess and I have been surprised by how many people really don't understand what is going on and how big a role the US Government and two Government Sponsored Enterprises (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) played in causing this financial melt down. MPR references Dump Michele Bachmann in a post about Keith Ellison calling Michele Bachmann on her bigotry. Bachmann told the St. Cloud Times that it was an "unfair characterization" of her remarks. A new poll released Friday suggests a series of gaffes by the Conservatives, such as an insensitive joke by Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz, might not have hurt the Tories as much as expected.
